    100_2788

very nice Diamond T, perhaps the only 1967 known to exist...

    100_2789

this was a '53 Diamond T. I didn't particularly care for this grille style...

    100_2790

    Very nice '48 306...

    100_2791

an early Nash. I am sure originally it had hard rubber tires...

    100_2796

pretty sharp Diamond T tractor, similar to the 921F near Holton...

    100_2798

    very nice Diamond T pickup, a 201

    100_2802

    100_2801

    100_2800

seldom see a twin axle 10500 series, especially in a '57

    100_2799

one of the few Hendricksons at the show...

    100_2803

there was even a Chevrolet Titan...

    100_2804

    100_2805

    big Dodge tractor....

    100_2762

    100_2763

a WWII halftrack made it to the show, made by White. Pretty sharp, you seldom see one outside of a museum. The parts all have to be handmade anymore for these...

    100_2764

    100_2767

custom Kenworth, all rebuilt and painted up...

    100_2765

    100_2766

and of course a custom Peterbuilt too....

    100_2768

this Diamond T model 80 was very sharp. About a '38

    100_2769

Very nice 306, about a '48, as close to mine as I saw there...

    100_2770

This is a Diamond T 201 pickup with 17" rims...

    100_2771

a 1936 Model 80 Diamond T bus, very nicely done. not sure of the suspension under it, I didn't recognize the rims and it didn't have D-T hubcaps, so it may have been modern...

    100_2772

Another model 80 I think. Not sure on the larger cab/chassis...

    100_2773

very sharp early Packard bus. Hard rubber tires, no front brakes...

    100_2774

beautiful Mack C cab with hard rubber tires...

    100_2775

    100_2776

    very nice early Mack....

    100_2777

There weren't many of these mid-sized Macks ever built...

    100_2751

    a Diamond T 509 with a dump box....

    100_2752

Looks initially like a 201 pickup, but is actually a 405 with a handmade box. Notice the narrow grille strips unique to the 405...

Nice example of a Diamond Reo...

June 11, 2007

  • Went to the National Antique Truck Show this weekend in Colorado Springs. Kind of a fast road trip, but it was worth it. Did manage to put 1500 miles on the car out and back tho....

    100_2726

One of many restored mid-50's Kenworths...

    100_2727

this was in the parking lot across from the showgrounds, couldn't help but get a photo of that...

    100_2728

A REO, on the auction block...

    100_2729

    100_2730

a WWII tank transporter, chain drive. Massive, only way to describe it.

    100_2731

This Autocar diesel ran pretty well, and has that low slung look....

    100_2732

    a very clean Federal....

    100_2733

one of many Diamond T's at the show, there were probably about 15 or more...

    100_2735

    a 1940 GMC...

    100_2736

caught Maureen by an unrestored Mack B-61 Thermodyne. Probably the most popular and my favorite body style of Mack...

    Another sharp Mack flatbed....

    100_2738

This 30's Chevrolet has a side dump grain box..

    "C" cab...

    100_2741

    mid 50's Dodge...

    100_2742

solid sheet metal, this will be an easy restore....

    100_2743

sharp little Diamond T 201 pickup. Large hubcaps...

    100_2744

how about a Dimaond T fire truck?

    100_2745

Rich would love this, it is a '68 International Travelall, same body style as his old one. His was a 1 ton chassis and 4WD...

    100_2746

wood spoke wheels, mechanical brakes on the rear. Radiator behind the engine, and if you look close you can see the acetylene tank behind the seat and below, to provide gas for the headlamps...

    100_2747

This is, I believe, a Moreland, one of several I had never heard of...open C Cab, massive engine, chain drive. By this time my camera had crapped out and reset it's date...time for a new camera...

    100_2748

this was a very sweet Diamond T tractor, mid 50's I think.

    100_2749

    a "bullnose" Kenworth....nicely done...

    100_2708

    100_2710

Aunt Babe made it, although she protested quite a bit, but was still pleased with herself when she was able to walk up the hill to the restrooms on her own. She was wondering if she could do it...she will be 90 in June....

    100_2698

Tom and Curt and Jacob relaxing, something they do far too seldom....

    100_2701

everyone had a nice time, including Allen, who got this for his birthday...

    Memorial Day 2007 with Randy's family 040

    100_2697

a Yamaha V-Twin, he was pleased. It is a 2003 with only 1200 miles on it. Metallic purple.
