  • Well, got the color coats on the fender and fairing, not without it's mishaps. Still make beginner's mistakes, try to put on too heavy a coat then you get runs...

    in between color and clear, we managed to install the fairing that Allen got me for birthday and Father's Day, on my Yamaha. Then we had to take a little test drive up to the Bennet corner and back. Looks and works real nice. Really pretty easy to install, also...

    Now to let them harden and reinstall. Still waiting on decals and some rubber boots for the mirrors. I did get the grommet to mount the fairing back on, so we could put that on now, then get the fender on...won't bother me to let it set a few extra days and get the paint a little harder...
