And wouldn't you know, the day before the show, Allen gets in an accident. Some lady turned into him... minor damage, but still....
fortunately she had insurance, but trying to find a rubber strip for that front bumper will be a treat. I did temporarily glue it, and buffed out the scuffs, so it at least looks a little better...always something.
And now I have lost my cell phone...can't find the dumb thing anywhere... be my luck I left it at Walmart, and will have to make a trip back in there....sheesh...

that sucks...at least it didn't take out the whole bumper or the door or something...
as for the cellphone, I can call it and drive some store manager nuts with it...

I did find my phone, in the drive where I had gotten out of the car. Must have fell out of my pocket and I didn't notice. Frankly I was so exhausted by then I really didn't care.
About 20 degrees cooler this morning, promises to be a spectacular day weather wise. Boys are headed out, and then we'll head to NC for the show. I had wanted to be on the road by now, I know how fast the good slots on the south side of the street fill up...oh well, their Mom didn't wake them up this morning...of course...took half a dozen phone calls to get Kyle moving...
We will take lots of pics, I promise. Then birthdays at American Meter Park at 4-ish. Got Jeff - DVD - Waterboy, Katie a keyboard, Kelsey some puzzles and a recorder (flute) and Russell a gift card to Walmart for $20. i made him a card on the computer, used that cat with the twisted face that says WTF!?!?! on it.. turned out pretty fun...
