Just time for a quick update....Delivered Bambi to the locker this morning in Johnson, Jalapeno pepper and cheese summer sausage, and deer sticks.....should be done before Christmas break is over...stopped past the sale barn at Palmyra, found out there is a hay sale tomorrow at noon, good time to get some alfalfa and hay before it gets real cold...took the car in to get the tire fixed and wound up running errands the rest of the day. Picked Kyle up from school, his "Food and Nutrition" Class ( we used to call it "Home Ec") made pies, so he had 7 half frozen pies to take home. That was interesting. Stopped past Menards and got some electrical supplies for the basement. Will get started on that again this week, perhaps. Came home and found they'd delivered the trusses for the Garage, so they must be getting closer to start work on it. That means I have to be digging a water line trench tomorrow mud or no mud. And I came down with a dandy cold. Just what I needed. Still no new Inspections, but I did get wind there are two coming in, so I feel better about that at least. Tenants at G St had about half rent, better than none, at least I am caught up paying bills on that account. Threw some chukkar in the crockpot with some cream of mushroom and celery soup, that was good this evening. Slicing cold up here, only 28 today, they were forecasting 40. Right. Supposed to be 50 tomorrow (maybe it'll make 30) and 52 on Thursday. Just some sun would be nice. We have another cat. Damn thing adopted us. Tiger grey male, very vocal, quite friendly. Someone has dumped him I think. Sleeps in the horse barn (this is good) and isn't picky about what he eats. Far better qualities than any of the other 7, I will say. Headed into town in a few minutes, to the bowling alley. Drop off Kyle's cellphone, he forgot it this morning. Told him I'd answer all the calls he gets from these sweet young things that follow him around, he just looked at me funny and blushed. I was kidding, but I don't think he thought I was....hmmmn....well, best scram for now, it would be nice to get to bowling early for a change....later
